Bandwidth-Variable Tunable Filter <BVF-200CL>
|
BVF-200CL is the latest C+L-band extended model for the popular
BVF-200 series of advance tunable optical filters based on our flexible
optical filter tuning technologies. The filter center wavelength is completely
tunable over the entire C+L-band, from 1530nm - 1610nm, with independently
tunable bandwidth from 0.1nm to 13nm. The filter response of the BVF-200CL
is an ideal flat-top profile with extremely sharp roll-off at the filter
edges, together with a strong out-of-band suppression of typically 50dB
readily achievable.
The BVF-200CL allows very narrowband filtering down to 0.1nm
which is ideal for stringent filtering of 10Gb/s DWDM signals, and a wideband
operation upto 13nm (larger bandwidths are possible as a custom option).
It also exhibits an extremely low chromatic dispersion within its passband
of <1ps/nm which is important for filtering of short optical pulses
at large bandwidth setting. All these properties makes the BVF-100CL an
ideal and flexible tunable filter for various demanding applications requiring
full tunability in optical filtering.
