PFA-100 is an
all-polarization-maintaining Erbium-doped fiber amplifier with high
polarization extinction ratio, optimized for short pulse amplification.
The amplifier allows pulse compression whilst amplifying the output
average power when used with Alnair PFL-100 femtosecond pulsed laser as
the input pulse source. Femtosecond high peak power output is possible
with a minimal temporal distortion at output power upto 70mW.
Super-continuum generation is also possible with output power level set
at higher levels >100mW.
