Tunable Dispersion Compensator <TDC-100>

TDC-100 is a strain controllable-chirped Fiber Bragg Grating
device. The strain tuning technique allows the dispersion tuning of a CFBG
with wide bandwidth variation and makes it suitable for 160Gbit/s optical
communication, simultaneous dispersion compensation of a couple of channels
and fine dispersion adjustment for a laser catity. The TDC is available
in manual and automatic tuning types. The automatic version is interfaced
with RS-232C or GPIB. The control software is a user-friendly graphical
LabVIEW based interface. A sub-Vi is available for the customers to include
the control program into their applications such as adaptive dispersion
compensation.
